This week I have been lucky enough to have my granddaughter Mia staying with us.
She is nearly 11 and is quite skilled in many art disciplines already
Her first project was making some pieced cushions using some of my Marimekko and some patterned matching patterned fabric. Very new to the machine she learned quickly and can now sew a pretty straight seam. 
As you can see in the picture she managed to complete three big ones and two tiny ones
 Next project was creating a paper collage on gold leafed canvas.
Her design layout was very successful - all these items are for her bedroom in their new house. Quite an achievement! Clever Mia !
