Trying to move on

Now for a new inspiration-I ask myself "what do I have too much of?"

Well I already know- Beautiful white lace! Some up to 200 years old .

Lovely people have been handing it on to me since the 1960's.Back in the 1970's I did use it to create contemporary ( for then) fantasy skirts.As well some has made it's way into this current exhibition.

Now I must gather it all together and get creative!

As well as lace I see in my studio strange things I like to put together- sea sponges and plaster casts of bodies and faces. Maybe all these things together can be the start of a new direction?
